Kitchen retailer and manufacturer Urban Myth has tasked Black & Ginger with the delivery of a new concept for its kitchen website.

The Liverpool digital design consultancy will work closely with the owner and marketing team at Urban Myth to re-develop the current website in order to incorporate more of a ‘communicative approach’ in focusing upon lifestyle interests, as well as being able to highlight some of the company’s projects, which includes a recent collaboration with chef Jamie Oliver.

Ollie Davies, marketing director for Urban Myth, commented: “This is a great opportunity for us to be active in a new way of communicative thinking for both us and our clients. Many kitchen websites are often all about the images and touched up photography, but we feel that the kitchen itself has a more personal dimension to it, after all it is supposed to be the heart of the home. We also understand that the people who buy our kitchens are often very savvy to design and cultural influences, as are we, so the new design dairy will really showcase a constantly updated feed of great living ideas.”
