Penguin has reissued six of its popular novels with limited edition covers created by leading tattoo artists.

Titles given the inky treatment include Nick Hornby's High Fidelity, Jonathan Coe's The Rotters' Club and Zoe Heller's Notes on a Scandal. (Scroll down to see them all.)

The publisher's managing director, Joanna Prior, said: "We picked some of our biggest, bestselling British contemporary writers and authors who, like us, loved the idea of tattoo artists interpreting their books in a new cover look."
