Europe’s first creative suite for QR Code generation, scheduling and tracking has been launched by QRpro.

The British company created the system to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to create, schedule and track QR Codes. QR Codes can be used to enhance any printed materials, such as in magazines, newspapers, business cards or billboards, as well as being used on digital media to help encourage increased customer interaction.

They are scanned by the potential customer who will then be redirected to piece of digital content such as a website, coupon, YouTube video or enable them to compose a text message or e-mail.

The system has been in beta since May 2011, and has had more than 600 businesses signed up in 2 months and number of scans rising between 400% and 1000% month on month.

A function allowing users to design, colour and brand codes experienced over 300 codes being created over two hours when first trialled at the end of July. This functionality will be released soon.

Nial Chapman, co-founder of QRpro, said: “QRpro has been created to help businesses leverage the benefits of QR Codes, in order to add value to their marketing campaigns and provide a new level of interaction for their clients.

“As well as accurately tracking and reporting on all engagements, businesses will be able to schedule and even randomise the media that their QR codes direct users to.

“This opens allows them to be creative with their campaigns, for example allowing a fast food operator to provide different voucher offers at different times of the day or even an ice cream brand offering different incentives based on the weather, ideal for the unpredictable British summer!”
