The Leith Agency is showing there is life after lager clients by designing and launching its own beer brand.

The Edinburgh-based agency has previously worked with the likes of Grolsch, Coors and Tennent's, but for the first time in 25 years it finds itself without a beer account.

To compensate, it has created its own golden ale called The Maid in Leith, its nautical name and branding inspired by the Water of Leith that surrounds the agency's office.

It brewed up the beer with a little help from the Williams Brothers Brewery and plans to donate any profits to The Water of Leith Conservation Trust.

You can read more about Maid in Leith over on the agency's blog. The beer also has its own website, which has been created by Blonde Digital, Twitter and Facebook pages.
