LEGO UK appoints Cake for consumer PR

LEGO UK has appointed Cake to help manage its consumer PR for product ranges available in the UK.

Bright PR will continue to handle the brand work and wider consumer PR for the Danish company.

The company has branched into areas such as video games, theme parks and magazines over recent years, as well as the traditional toy line.

Cake's head of PR, Michele Charles, will lead the account, and the team will report to LEGO UK's PR manager Emma Owen.

Owen said: “The Cake team thoroughly impressed us with its mixture of top quality creativity, sound media knowledge and ability to push the strategic boundaries.

“We feel sure that together we can make future campaigns a real success.”
