Subway has launched a click-and-collect service in the US as part of its mobile marketing strategy, with plans to bring it to the UK in the next year.

The scheme will allow users to order meals through their mobile phones, before picking them up at the nearest branch.

Global mobile marketing specialist Velti will provide the platform for this transactional mobile marketing programme.

This is not the only mobile marketing campaign launched by Subway recently – in the last fortnight the company launched scannable discount vouchers in partnership with O2.
