Lee Valley Regional Park Authority has appointed London Communications with the contract to handle its corporate communications and stakeholder relations services.

The appointment will include promoting the part as a ‘world class leisure destination’ as it embarks upon private and public sector partnerships, while the agency will also offer strategic advice and support to enable the park to interact with key audiences and maintain and improve relations with key influencers.

The tender process that led to the appointment saw five offers submitted, with the lower offer at £109,995 and the highest reaching £128,420.25. Price weighed half of the decision percentage, with the proposal weighing another 43%. 7% of the decision – according to the tender notice for the electronic auction, weighed quality and availability of specialist assistance.
