Four New York PR companies appointed by VisitScotland

VisitScotland has appointed its North American PR contract to a framework made up of four companies in the US.

New York agencies Laura Davidson PR, Weber Shandwick, Development Councillors International and Mww Group have won the tender to promote the Scottish tourism organisation, and will also work with partner organisations such as Scottish Development International, Historic Scotland and the Scottish Government as part of the contract.

The contract award, valued at £897,500, is initially for 12 month, with a potential extension of 12 months possibly being implemented.

Four offers were received in total for the tender.
