Digital salaries have continued to rise according to the third Digital Salary Survey carried out by Propel London.

The digital recruitment agency's findings, taken from the first half of 2011, showed that the average digital salary level increased 3.8% compared to the second half of last year.

Average salaries in User Experience & Information Architecture were the highest surveyed (an average of £80.8k for a lead, up 24.3% on the second half of last year).

Salaries in Mobile were also amongst the highest as brands and agencies rapidly increase their activities in this area. The average mobile marketing manager is claimed to be on £56.2k, while the average mobile developer pockets £41.5k.

Propel said the findings indicate continued demand across the digital industry for talent at all levels of seniority.

“Whenever we speak to businesses in the digital space, they all share a common challenge – the attraction and retention of talent. In fact, we think that talent is the single biggest challenge that the digital industry collectively faces” said marketing manager, Phil Haslehurst.

“The future of the digital industry is full of virtually limitless potential for success – as professionals, as businesses, and as a whole sector. The key to unlocking that potential is to build a workforce that is highly skilled, commercially viable, and above all else satisfied and genuinely passionate about the digital space. Understanding the salary landscape is one significant part of that process, and one we hope is helped by this survey.”
