Brass has created a campaign for Mission Food’s new Mission Mexican range, encompassing TV, online and social media.

The integrated communications agency has developed a new Mission in Your Kitchen website, Facebook page and YouTube channel as well as support in ASDA stores through POS, outdoor advertising, advertising in the Asda magazine and on Asda.com.

The campaign also includes the sponsorship of the new Channel 5 cooking series, Mexican Food Made Simple which features celebrity Chef and cookery author Thomasina Miers.

Brass created seven idents shot on location in Mexico which will be shown at the beginning, middle and end of the show as well as featuring on a Channel 5 microsite supporting the show.

Ian Job, European marketing director of Mission Foods, said: “We’re proud to be working in partnership with Thomasina and sponsoring the show and very excited about the prospect of the show giving viewers a fresh outlook on Mexico, its culture and most significantly its cuisine.

“We hope through this, the fantastic product development and the associated marketing, we will give people a real taste of what Mexican Food has to offer and just how simple it can be to make.”

The Mission Mexican range will be available from August.
