QR Codes given designer makeover
Barcode-like Quick Response codes are being given a makeover by designers in a bid to enhance their attractiveness to members of the public.
Mashable reports that a 30% margin of tolerance in the readability of the black and white boxes has given those of a more artistic bent to add a splash of colour and flair to the designs.
Patrick Donnelly, QR code designer and expert, told the tech site: “Designer QR codes are not only a way to make your 2D barcode stand out, but they also add a more human element to the otherwise cold and techie appearance.
“This could be the difference between someone scanning your code or not.”
