Tourism and investment organisation Marketing Cheshire has made four appointments to its board.

The newly-formed body has enlisted Dennis Dunn, pro vice chancellor of Manchester Metropolitan University; Roger Gorham, a director of Bride Hall Holdings; Jamie Macrae, cabinet member for prosperity at Cheshire East Council; and Stuart Parker, executive member for culture and recreation on Cheshire West & Chester Council.

"We believe we are well placed to help drive investment and to continue to make great strides in attracting more business and people to Cheshire and Warrington," said Edward Pysden, chairman of Marketing Cheshire.

"This is clearly reflected in the skills, experience and well-balanced make-up of the Marketing Cheshire board we have put together."
