Brand consultancy Goosebumps has been appointed to help with the refurbishment and redesign London hotel, the Kensington Grosvenor.

Goosebumps have been commissioned to overhaul the hotel’s image, creating a new identity that will include a new name, logo, ‘look and feel’ and online presence, with some influence drawn from the Victorian designs and botanical collections in the nearby Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

In May, Dexter Moren Associates was named as the design firm who would work on the project for the Denimoor owned hotel.

Ben Kingsmill, managing partner at Goosebumps, said:“We feel incredibly lucky to be working on such a beautiful gem of a hotel in one of the most coveted locations in London. We have been exploring the most modern and cutting edge design routes to bring the hotel’s identity into the twenty-first century, while keeping its charm intact, and we are very excited about our progress.”

Anton Fedun, managing director at Denimoor, said: “The rebranding of the Kensington Grosvenor Hotel is a terrific project for us. We knew Goosebumps were the right agency for us when we saw their proposals were as brave and adventurous as they were sensitive to the hotel’s past. We cannot wait to move forward.”
