Tangerine PR and sister agency Juice Digital have been appointed to launch Notalie, a new companion doll aimed at little girls.

Notalie has been created by entrepreneur Kym Yorke to encourage little girls to stay children for longer and not feel forced to grow up too quickly. Yorke describes her product as "the complete antithesis of Barbie".

Manchester-based Tangerine will be responsible for maximising media coverage around Notalie's launch. A Notalie website will launch later this month and Juice will lead a Facebook and Twitter push.

Marie Carter, consumer account director at Tangerine PR, said: "As soon as we met Kym we understood what she was trying to achieve with Notalie and we wanted to get involved.

"We have already seen that Notalie is extremely popular with little girls of all ages and we can’t wait to take her to market.”
