Lulz Security hacks The Sun's website to report Rupert Murdoch's death
The Sun’s website has been targeted by a group of hackers.
The website, hacked by Lulz Security, originally sent readers to a faux story which claimed that Rupert Murdoch has been found dead in his garden.
Readers were then redirected to the Lulz Twitter page.
The problems have now been rectified by News International which also took down The Times as well in order to avoid any further problems.
Lulz Security was the group which previously targeted Sony and Nintendo for user’s details and had announced last month that it was set to disband.
