Bell Pottinger chairman to handle media for Rebekah Brooks
Bell Pottinger chairman David Wilson has been drafted in to handle press inquiries for Rebekah Brooks following her arrest yesterday.
According to the Guardian, Wilson was appointed by Brooks' lawyers minutes after the former News of the World editor was taken into custody at midday on Sunday.
Wilson said Brooks, who stood down as News International chief executive on Friday, "intends to clear her name".
Brooks was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications and on suspicion of corruption.
