LEGO has continued its promotion of its Ninjago range of toys by partnering with Bath-based special interest Group Future.

LEGO will be giving away free Ninjago minifigure and Spinner Set Battle Cards with every issue of Future’s Nitro magazine.

The news follows the recent work by McCann Erickson Bristol to promote the range.

Gloucestershire-based Norton and Co provided PR services that helped facilitate LEGO's partnership with Future.

Nitro is Future’s magazine aimed at pre-teen boys; the promotion follows in the footsteps of highly successful covermounts with Future for LEGO Star Wars: The Clone Wars and LEGO Power Miners.

“LEGO Ninjago has been the largest LEGO IP launch to date and it was paramount that it received a high impact supporting campaign. We chose Nitro as 'destination Ninjago', our key media partner,” said LEGO Ninjago brand manager Sally-Anne Weekes.

“Comprehensive and extensive creative solutions included take-over issues, advertorials, character highlights and covermount activity. We've been delighted with the work so far and will continue to work with Nitro in the future.”
