Vehicle glass repair and replacement company Autoglass has launched a Facebook commerce application.

The F-commerce app will allow customers to assess their vehicle glass damage, whether it can be repaired and also book appointments with Autoglass through Facebook.

David Meliveo, marketing director for Autoglass said: “The new Facebook app reflects our commitment to make life as simple as possible for our customers, and is another string to our bow in providing quality customer service across all our communication platforms.

“A fundamental part of the Autoglass customer proposition is convenience, and our developments across social, online and mobile channels provide quick and easy access to our service.

“With F-commerce developing at lightning speed, we feel our new app addresses the strong demand for integrated commerce and booking platforms on Facebook, enabling customers to quickly book a technician appointment at the touch of a button over a platform they feel comfortable with.

“With customers already interacting with the brand and their peers over social networking channels, Autoglass wanted to introduce a commerce solution that would further continue the customer journey, addressing their needs directly on the Facebook page without the need to direct them to other channels.”
