Bath-based special-interest media group, Future and Sony Computer Entertainment UK Ltd (SCE UK) have today announced a new weekly HD video show which will be available for download from the UK PlayStation® Store on the PlayStation® Network (PSN).

The new show will be free to eligible UK PSN account holders, downloadable to their PlayStation 3 console from the UK PlayStation Store on PSN.

The show will feature up-to-the-minute HD previews, interviews and more, covering everything from the biggest up-and-coming PlayStation 3 games and Blu-ray movie releases to weekly highlights and hidden gems on the PSN.

The new show will be aligned closely with SCE UK ’s Access to PlayStation community strategy; reporting access-all-areas from SCE UK ’s Access events and industry events.

The show continues the long-running and successful partnership between SCE UK and Future, which began in 1995. Today, the Future group operate on both sides of the Atlantic with its portfolio of print and digital PlayStation magazine content.

Future’s first foray into publishing digital interactive magazine content on the PSN, FirstPlay, will close to make way for the new show.

“We went a long way very quickly with FirstPlay and this new phase in our partnership with PlayStation will allow us to take HD video magazine content to the next level,” said Future’s entertainment group publisher, Simon Maxwell.

“Production on the new show is well under way and editorial standards are impeccably high. We’re looking forward to providing SCE UK with top-quality video content for more PlayStation gamers than ever before.”
