Eurolines appoints The Walker Agency for web redesign

Coach operator Eurolines has hired The Walker Agency to make its website "more engaging" for Europe-bound coach travellers.

The Bournemouth-based agency was selected to redesign the corporate landing page for Eurolines – www.eurolines.com – as well as the UK consumer site www.eurolines.co.uk.

It already handles Eurolines' advertising account, which it picked up after a three-way pitch earlier this year.

The new-sites will go live in the final quarter of 2011 boasting "inspirational" photography, more useful travel information and reasons to travel to each destination.

Daryl Irvine, digital creative director of The Walker Agency said, “This project will give us an opportunity to redefine how the main Eurolines website fits into the consumer journey.

"We are aiming to move it beyond a corporate communications tool and create a truly immersive and informative site for European coach travel.”
