The Sun on Sunday registered on Companies House
The Drum has learned that The Sun on Sunday has been registered as a limited company on Company’s House.
The much rumoured newspaper looks a step nearer having been registered at Company’s House last Friday with a Portsmouth address.
The newspaper is thought to be the replacement title for The News of the World, which printed its last edition yesterday.
A domain name for the new newspaper was registered last Tuesday, two days before it was announced that the News of the World would close.
The new title is expected to launch soon, turning The Sun into a seven-day newsroom.
