Car rental brand Sixt has appointed online PR agency Onlinefire to help establish, build and maintain an online presence for the firm.

Public relations company Eulogy!’s digital shop Onlinefire will position the brand as the "hyperlocal" car hire company and promote the car hire company with online influencers and communities.

Paul Mcloughlin, UK managing director at Sixt, told Gorkanapr: "It's great to be working with Onlinefire and Eulogy!. Many of our customers are using social media and therefore it's essential that we embrace and use the different channels that are appropriate.

"The team has demonstrated a clear understanding of our business and target audiences, which instantly provided us with reassurance that it has a complete understanding of our sector. By combining strategic thinking with creativity I have every confidence that the campaign will deliver results, in new business and repeat bookings."
