Mark Zuckerberg pips Google’s founders to become most followed person on Google +
Mark Zuckerberg is more popular than Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin - on their own social network.
The Google + Statistics counter is topped by Zuckerberg’s smiling mug who is placed directly above his social media rival Page thanks to the weight of his coterie of 21k followers.
Page, who made the number two spot, could coral just 15k followers whilst Google co-founder Brin had 1round 14k.
Google + Statistics head Boris Veldhuijzen said of Zuckerberg’s unexpected perch: “He has the most friends in the world, they made a movie about him, and he is more handsome than the Larry and Sergey.”
