Milne appointed editor of STV Local
Shaun Milne has been appointed as editor of STV Local following the departure of Iain Hepburn last month.
Milne, who was appointed as regional editor of STV Local in Edinburgh earlier this year having joined from news agency Deadline News, will oversee the editorial content for all of the community sites on the hyperlocal online news service.
“It’s a privilege to be given the chance to play such a key role in helping shape what is one of Europe's most exciting digital media projects and to build on the great work of the talented team and communities involved so far,” said Milne.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for me personally and for all those lucky enough to work on STV Local at such an exciting time in its evolution, and I look forward to both the challenges and opportunities to come on the journey ahead.”

The site is also currently recruiting a regional editor for its soon-to-launch Glasgow site.
