Lucre has been appointed by mail and messaging technology provider Pitney Bowes to handle the public relations for its Global Mailing Systems (GMS) division.

The brief is to elevate the Pitney Bowes brand among business users, with emphasis on demonstrating how its technology can help SMEs create deeper relationships with customers.

Hina Sharma, head of brand and content development at Pitney Bowes, said: “Lucre delivered a highly professional and creative pitch which met all of our aims and objectives. We have worked with Lucre on a variety of projects over the last 18 months and have been very impressed with the results they’ve achieved. We’re looking forward to seeing what they can do to help us build our business.”

Mark Jackson, group head of corporate PR at Lucre, said: “Pitney Bowes is a huge worldwide organisation and we are thrilled to have been appointed as its PR agency. We can’t wait for the challenge of helping Pitney Bowes maintain its market share in its core markets while supporting its growth into new areas.”

This is the first major contract win for Lucre’s newly launched corporate practice.
