The Sun and the Daily Telegraph have apologised to Pippa Middleton for printing pictures which she claims were obtained after paparazzi harrasment.

Both papers disputed that Middleton had been harassed when a freelance agency photographer took the pictures.

Nevertheless they apologised to the Duchess of Cambridge's sister and gave assurances to the Press Complaints Commission that there would be no repeat.

The Daily Telegraph “apologised to the complainant if she had felt harassed in the taking of the photograph” and said it had taken steps to ensure the image would never be published again.

The Sun “apologised to the complainant for any unintentional distress caused” and removed photographs from its website and archive.
