American publication Newsweek has shocked a number of readers with a creepy front page and article about what Princess Diana would be like aged 50.

If she hadn’t died, Diana would be 50 this Friday, and Newsweek is ‘celebrating’ this with an article by editor-in-chief Tina Brown about what her life would be like now.

She speculates that Diana would have moved to New York, remarried twice, had botox, be slightly jealous of Kate Middleton and be friends with both Kate Middleton’s mother and Prince Charles.

The Los Angeles Times questioned if the article was "shocking, brilliant or just plain cheap?", with the front page featuring Diana and Kate walking down the street together getting the most flak.

The worst, perhaps, is the fake Facebook page that Newsweek has created, which suggests that Diana would be friends with Victoria and David Beckham, ‘liking’ Glee and Mad Men, and being ‘poked’ by Nicolas Sarkozy.
