Aunt Bessie shown the social media ropes by Outside Line

Following the news that more over 50s are using Facebook and Twitter it was only a matter of time before Auntie joined social media... Aunt Bessie that is.

Outside Line will launch a Facebook page and expand the currently held Twitter page. The aim of the campaign is to both raise awareness for the brand and to provide a hub for customer service and loyalty. They will work with Aunt Bessie’s creative agency, VCCP and public relations team, Good Relations.

The digital agency has already worked on campaigns for Cravendale, Lurpak and Twinings.

Lorraine Crowe, Marketing Manager at Aunt Bessie’s said: “2011 looks set to be a big year for us and we want to ensure we maximise awareness of our products and connect with our fans with an engaging social media presence.

“The UK loves our products, but it’s important we continue to show both the variety that we offer and that they can be enjoyed on lots of different occasions.”
