The Olympic ticket-buying system led to anger again over the weekend as people were told yesterday that tickets they had spent time trying to buy on Friday were not available.

In the second round of ticket buying, which started at 6am on Friday 24 June, people were trying to buy tickets for events that had already been sold out, but not taken off the website in time.

It was only yesterday, Sunday 26, that people found out if their applications had been successful or not.

This is not the first set back that the London Olympic 2012 ticket site has had – on both ticket sale occasions the website crashed due to overuse.
