ITV promotions see broadcaster's sales team overhaul near completion

In concluding its sale team overhaul, commercial broadcaster ITV has promoted Ross Faulkner, creative solution controller to the new role of deputy strategic engagement director.

The new role will see Falkner take responsibility for the new strategic engagement team, in which he will report to a strategic engagement director, a role that has yet to be filled.

This team aims to help the broadcaster’s clients identify and use the most suitable marketing platforms offered by ITV.

Other promotions include the appointment of four new sales controllers; Stephen Poole, previously online sales manager, Bhavit Chandari, previously sponsorship controller and account directors John Smale and Ben Louis.

The sales controllers will take responsibility of four agency facing groups, made up of between 10 and 15 people, reporting to sales director Mark Trinder, and well as a sale director, also yet to be named.

The commercial team have been overhauled in recent months under chief executive Adam Croziers reign at the broadcaster.
