What company did you last work for?

Prior to rla, I worked for Strattons; an advertising, design and online agency specialising in luxury accounts.

What was your first industry job?

I landed an entry-level marketing position with one of the UKs leading construction companies. I provided day-to-day support to marketing managers, and with it being a construction company, also learnt how to make a cracking cup of tea!

What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?

Ooh, I'd choose something so obscure they'd have trouble finding anything out about it! Eighteenth century gardening techniques perhaps?

Who is your favourite fictional character?

Without doubt, James Bond. The guy’s been going since 1953 and is still the coolest guy I know!

Do you have a hidden talent, and if so what is it?

I don’t know, it's still hiding.

AUSTIN WELLS, PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

What company did you last work for?

Austin Wells Design Limited

Apprentice Compositor

What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?

Blood Meridian or the Evening Redness in the West

Who is your favourite fictional character?

Bernie Gunther

Avoiding questions about hidden talents.

Red Wine from the Southern Hemisphere.

John Taylor - private detective from the Nightside series of books by Simon R Green.

Do you have a hidden talent, and if so what is it?

Climbing mountains and drinking cider at the top.

EMMA BRUNTY, ACCOUNT MANAGER

What company did you last work for?

I previously worked for Zurich Insurance plc in the broker marketing department. I worked with various business areas to produce online and offline campaigns to increase the number of products sold by brokers. I had worked in the financial services industry for a few years so it was a big aim of mine break into a new area of marketing.

What was your first industry job?

My first job in marketing was working for a company called Go Business Mortgages. They were very driven and had a very fast-paced work ethic. As well as this I dealt with big monthly marketing spends so it was a steep learning curve for me! I wouldn't have change it though as it really kick started my career and we worked closely with Southampton FC so that was a bonus for me.

What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?

I must admit it would be recycling. I know it sounds boring but I feel really responsible for trying to 'do my bit' for the environment. It was drummed into me back in school and I just really latched on to it. My friends and family actually think I'm a bit obsessed!

Who is your favourite fictional character?

It would have to be DCI Tom Barnaby from Midsomer Murders. He never fails to amuse. It's great the way he is so dedicated to his job but seems to be completely unfazed by the amount of murders which occur in his tiny village. With his old gentlemen ways, it's a guaranteed giggle for me.

Do you have a hidden talent, and if so what is it?

Unfortunately I haven't discovered one yet...
