Retailer Monsoon gets new branding

Pompei A.D. has created a new brand identity for the high street fashion retailer Monsoon.

The agency's work includes the logo, packaging, messaging systems and even a new store design for Monsoon's flagship shop on Oxford Street in London.

The new look is intended to reflect the brand's Indian-inspired roots. "For example, by modernizing the logo and customising elements of the type to emulate the curves found in traditional Indian architecture, the new Monsoon identity becomes a modern expresson of the authentic roots of the brand," Pompei A.D. said.

The new design will in time be applied to new Monsoon stores and the existing ones will be retrofitted.
