Tesco appoints EHS CEO has group digital and marketing officer

Supermarket chain Tesco has appointed Matt Atkinson, CEO of Evans Hunt Scott (EHS) as group digital and marketing officer.

Atkinson headed up the international digital business at EHS and has worked with Tesco on its Clubcard offer for the last 16 years.

Tim Mason, deputy CEO and chief marketing officer for Tesco said: “Matt has worked closely with us for many years and brings a wealth of experience to help us with our strategic objective to “Be a creator of highly valued brands”.

“He brings a depth of experience of leading marketing projects for large international brands including Barclays, Johnnie Walker, and Volvo. In addition to this, he has been involved in leading large scale digital mobile and social media projects for businesses like Diageo, Jaguar, Unilever and IBM.”
