QR codes company QRky has appointed Clive Reeves Public Relations to handle a B2B campaign.

Founded by Nicolas Holzherr, winner of the entrepreneurial category at Birmingham Young Professional of the Year 2011, QRky began life as a tech start-up offering QR-enabled business cards which allow full contact details to be saved immediately to any smart phone.

It now has five staff and offers a reseller package for graphic designers and printers.

David Kuczora, account manager at Clive Reeves Public Relations, said: “We were one of the early adopters of QRky’s platform for our own business cards, and have seen Nicolas move his firm from incubation through to a full-fledged and innovative Quick Response platform.

"His success in the entrepreneurial category at Birmingham Young Professional of the Year recently coincides with the next phase of development for the company, expanding into new market sectors."
