Keep Britain Tidy has appointed Amaze to design and build a web presence for the nationwide launch of its new anti-litter brand 'Love Where You Live'.

The organisation describes the new brand as a "reinvigoration" of the 40-year-old 'Tidyman' logo, and hopes introducing it will reduce littering and encourage discussion about the issue.

With public engagement a key aim, Amaze's web brief is to build a "social online community" which also pulls in discussions to the new site from the wider web and social media.

Louise Marsden, head of marketing and communications at Keep Britain Tidy, explained the task facing Amaze: "With an awareness week planned in just a few months time the site would need to be up and running long before then to help generate excitement and support through online community engagement."

Another aim of the new site will be to secure support from corporate sponsors, with space reserved for them and local authorities to show their commitment to the cause.

"We are extremely excited to be involved in this project and with what is set to be a meaningful partnership and journey over the next 10 years,” said Natalie Gross, managing partner of Amaze.
