This week's round up includes a possible return to the UK X Factor by Cheryl Cole, some sponsored tweets by Victoria Beckham, a pop star promoting SoBe, and Imogen Thomas looking for promotional work too.

Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming has said that fellow Mps and peers are set to name all of the celebrities who are hiding behind super injunctions. Hemming told The Sunday Express that there is a list of people ready to use Parliamentary privilege to defy the gagging order.

A campaign against the Government’s plans to ban cigarette displays in shops has been funded by British American Tobacco. The cigarette giant has admitted to funding the campaign against plans to force cigarettes in shops under-the-counter, the Observer reveals.

The Observer also reports that production company All3Media could be on course for a £750m sale with both Sony and Apollo showing interest in the company behind Shameless and Skins.

Pop star Ellie Goulding has been signed up by Britvic as the face of water brand SoBe, owned by PepsiCo.

ITV has apparently offered Cheryl Cole £2m to appear in the new series of The Factor in the UK after she was axed from the US series, says The Mail on Sunday. The channel is apparently prepared to double the singer’s usual wage of £1.2m to return.

The paper also reports that Victoria Beckham has been plugging a stretch mark brand that she is given for free. Beckham has been tweeting about the Elemis Japanese Camellia oil having been sent it by the company to test.
