Lager brand Kronenbourg 1664 has signed a deal to sponsor comedian Dave Gorman's Sunday morning show on Absolute Radio.

The agreement includes exclusive branded content within the weekly show and a brand presence on Dave Gorman's pages on Absolute Radio's website.

Bruce Reinders, brand director for premium lagers at Heineken UK, said: "The Dave Gorman show enjoys an extremely strong following among Kronenbourg 1664’s core target market of 35 – 44 year -old men and the sponsorship will allow the brand to engage and interact with this audience in an important part of their lives – their passion for music and entertainment."

The Absolute sponsorship will aim to reinforce Kronenbourg's 'Slow the Pace' advertising message, which was introduced in a TV ad starring Lemmy from Motorhead last year.
