The dangers of Google advertising are graphically highlighted this morning in an article on www.heraldscotland.com about the Nat Fraser case.

A crucial part of the evidence against him was the fact that his wife's wedding ring, engagement ring and maternity ring – together with other jewellery – had been found in their bathroom after she had disappeared.

The Crown's position was that he had removed the items from her dead body and placed them there. The Supreme Court said this argument had been undermined by evidence that had not been presented at the original trial. And in the middle of this harrowing text an ad that obviously pickled up on key words such as jewellery. The MPU was from Jo Malone London suggesting 'love is a gift'.
