Paul Hoskins, founder of Precedent is to step back from the day-to-day running of the company and take on the role of chairman.

The move will see newly appointed managing director Neil Davis and commercial director Mark Sherwin take control of the running of the agency.

Davis joined the agency four years ago as operations director, while Sherwin has worked there for 15 years, having previously held the role of business development director.

Paul Hoskins said: “I am absolutely delighted with how the company has thrived through the last 12 months. I am very excited by the new energy, staff and projects that have emerged and it is because of all this I am able to take a step back from the day to day running of the business to focus on entirely new initiatives and opportunities for Precedent’s growth.”

Podge founder and Dadi Awards chairman Phil Jones has also joined the agency as a board advisor.
