Do the tried and trusted new business techniques still work in the digital age? Where does Social Media fit into the picture? What role do intermediaries play? And can a game of golf still swing a piece of new business? Four new business experts to talk at next MiNetwork event in Manchester.

Sitting on the panel and sharing the benefit of their experiences in the new business arena will be Duncan Slater of Manchester-based Origin, Yorkshire-based new business consultant Trevor Flannery, Nick Brookes of Manchester ad agency Driven and Kirstie Buchanan of Liverpool digital agency Rippleffect.

The debate will see the panelists outlining what they find to be the most effective strategies for getting their businesses in front of potential new clients and also highlighting how the new business process has evolved over the last few years as digital communications have come to the fore.

The panel will also share their views on where Social Media fits into the new business process and how agencies and businesses in general should be using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to raise their profile and position themselves as thought leaders in their field.

Richard Draycott, Managing Director of MiNetwork, said: "New business is the lifeblood of any ambitious marketing services business and people such as Duncan and Trevor have dedicated their careers to developing strategies that work. Nick and Kirstie have also proven track records of what works within their businesses, so I'm sure there will be some interesting advice and guidance on offer for all agency businesses."

The event takes place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 2 June from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. To secure your ticket please visit the MiNetwork website.
