Budweiser is set to develop a worldwide reality TV programme which will offer contestants the opportunity to take up the role of their dreams professionally.

The beer brand will work with producer Evan Weinstein to make ‘Bud United presents: The Big Time, to offer young adults the opportunity to take part in a number of tasks to take on trials for the world’s leading sports teams, audition with international entertainment programmes and apprenticeships with some of the world’s biggest companies.

Contestants will be chosen from all around the world who submit their applications through the show’s Facebook page, including casting videos.

Four fans will then go forward to compete for their shot at undertaking their dream scenarios, with each episode focusing on a different dream, while another special episode will feature the participants come together.

Chris Burggraeve, chief marketing officer of Anheuser‐Busch InBev, explained:“We want to leverage Budweiser’s unparalleled access to international sports, entertainment and lifestyle assets to give our fans around the world the shot of a lifetime. Working with our partners, @radical.media and reality TV guru Evan Weinstein, we’ll bring Big Time dreams to life on an unprecedented global stage.”

Applications will be accepted through the Bud United Facebook site until 29 June.
