Manchester agency Stiff Rowlands has created online advertising to promote Clash Music's summer of 'Off Guard Gigs'.

Clash, the music website and magazine, is hitting the road in a vintage VW camper van this summer to put on intimate gigs by artists such as Ghostpoet, Young and the Giant and Dutch Uncles.

Stiff's work features the branded camper van and includes MPUs, leaderboards, skyscrapers and billboards.

The targeted ads are due to appear in the run up to each of the Off Guard Gigs on ClashMusic.com, NME.COM and streaming music service Spotify.

James Stiff, the agency's co-founder and creative director, said: "The Off Guard Gigs centre on the beautifully restored camper van at the heart of the tour and features a strong call to action: to win ‘Back Stage Passes’ to the most intimate sets.

"We’ve tailored the creative to the targeted online communities to generate maximum results.”

Clash will broadcast video highlights from the gigs, which take place at The Great Escape, Lovebox and Bestival festivals, on YouTube.
