Competition to design international logo for human rights launched
An international competition has been launched to create an official logo for human rights.
As there is no internationally recognised symbol for human rights, the competition will see entries of potential logos developed ‘by people for people’ and will be used to make a ‘peaceful contribution’ towards the global spread of human rights.
The competition is open to anyone to make submissions, with 10 finalists being chosen in August by a jury. The winning logo will then be selected in September.
Logos must be designed to be understandable without text and can be produced in any way the entrant chooses.
Entries can be sent to the campaign website.
Google and Cinema for Peace are two partners supporting the competition.
