Digital Consortium has designed and built microsites for Yorkshire Building Society's Northallerton and Richmond branches.

The microsites feature a video about the society and an online leaflet that customers can 'flip' through. Each staff member has their own biography showing how they can help customers.

The sites have been designed to be consistent with the society's offline advertising, which includes an outdoor campaign and local newspaper adverts.

Digital Consortium, which is based in Sowerby Bridge, has also designed Flash banners to promote the sites on local newspaper websites.

The agency's client services director, Liz Robinson, said: "Yorkshire Building Society’s aim is to encourage more people to come into the branches, so the microsites needed to communicate the individual personalities of each branch as well as provide information tailored to the area, such as any charity initiatives the branch is involved with.

"The staff biogs add a personal touch and enable customers to put faces to names."
