Vimto set for branding revamp

Nichols-owned soft drinks brand Vimto is in line for a branding revamp this month, including an update of brand packaging and a multi-media ad campaign.

The revelations came at the company’s annual meeting yesterday, with chairman John Nichols telling shareholders that the group has performed well in the four months to April.

Nichols said: “In 2011, we will again increase our total brand investment, including the complete update of Vimto brand packaging and a new, multimedia advertising campaign, launching in May, 2011.”

Last month the group launched a new range of Levi Roots (Reggae Reggae) Caribbean drinks into the UK market, and Mr Nichols said the new line has been “very well received by our major trade customers”.

Last month the group helped Reggae Reggae Sauce entrepreneur Levi Roots extend his brand into soft drink sector.
