Document Outsourcing tasked with Ayrshire printing contract
South Ayrshire Council has appointed Document Outsourcing Limited for the provision of print and other related services.
Following a tender process, the company will work with North Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and South Ayrshire Councils for their print requirements.
The tender was overseen by South Ayrshire Council and is understood to have a budget of £858,169, having initially been advertised in the European Journal in December 2009.
The award decision was made at the end of March 2011.
At the time of writing no one from the council had explained the reason for the lengthy period taken to complete the process.
