Salford agency Air Creative has made a splash at Liverpool Central Train Station as part of an ambient campaign for the Blue Planet Aquarium at Cheshire Oaks.

Supporting the Blue Planet’s “Jaw-Some Day Out” positioning line, Air created a large format floor vinyl, featuring an "actual size" three-metre long shark to give potential visitors a taste of what to expect.

Illustrator Dave Williams (aka Vectorise) was commissioned to bring the shark to life under commuters' feet.

Air said it chose the station because it was the ideal place to maximise footfall during the busy Easter holiday period and promote the aquarium's new attraction Coral Cave.

Paul Renolds, sales and marketing executive at Blue Planet, said: "We’re delighted with the impact of the new campaign which vividly illustrates the true scale of our sharks and enables us to interact with thousands of potential new visitors in a fun and amusing way.”
