Children’s charity Partnership for Children is to undertake a six-week PR campaign for the launch of its new book guide for parents and teachers.

Entitled Good Books for Tough Times, the guide helps parents and teachers choose the right story books for children who are facing difficulties such as bereavement, bullying or family break-up.

Oxfordshire-based Bottle PR has been brought onboard for the project and is offering the charity 50% of its time for free.

Bottle PR will focus on launching the guide to the UK national media and consumer parenting titles, as well as boosting brand awareness for the charity.

Bottle PR’s Claire Cairns said of the project: “We are delighted to be working with Partnership for Children. We thoroughly support their values of promoting good mental wellbeing for children and are looking forward to launching the guide and addressing this important subject."

And Partnership for Children programme director Caroline Egar added: “We were impressed by the mass national press Bottle PR have acquired for their clients and wanted to use their extensive experience, knowledge and contacts in the national and consumer media to spearhead the launch of Good Books for Tough Times.”
