UK and Europe pay more for iPad2 than US
Countries across Europe are set to pay more for their iPad2 when it launches tomorrow than consumers in the US, with the price set to be as high as €755 (£659) for the 64GB model, almost €100 more than in the US.
The iPad 2 will be released by Apple in the UK tomorrow, and is already the most anticipated piece of hardware to be released since its predecessor last year.
But the device will cost more in Europe than it will in the US, with the 64GB model priced at just €648 ($905) in the states in comparison to €799 in Ireland, Italy and Germany.
Canadians will also pay more at €690, with Swedish consumers facing a price of €809.
The cheapest place in Europe to purchase a 16GB model will be Switzerland, paying €428 in comparison with €390 ($545) in the States.
