A website which aims to combat cyber bullying for Family Lives, a national charity which provides 24-hour support to families across the UK, has been developed by Orange Bus.

The charity is calling for better communications between parents, pupils and teachers as a result in the growth in the number of incidents in cyber bullying, for which the website will act as a lynch pin for the charity’s plans.

The site has been created to make free support more accessible against cyber bulling, as well as the broad range of services it offers to help parents with Orange Bus specifically focusing on user experience to provide a resource that can bridge the gap between parents, professionals, families and children.

Luke Surry, head of digital media at Family Lives, explained that with the growth in online mobile technology, Cyber bulling had become a growing problem:

"It's vital that parents have easy access to online support, and for many the Family Lives website is the first place they visit. Parents can live chat with a trained family support worker, get advice over email and talk with other people facing similar issues in our discussion forum,” he added.
